I am mixed about this move. I don't want to blog but Mom says you would be interested in knowing what I have to say. So.... here we go.
I'm looking forward to getting a cell phone and have been doing a lot of research on which one is the best choice for me. There are many factors to consider, a GPS and camera are really important for me. I found a really informational web site that has helped me compare phones and their features. http://www.phonearena.com/ you should check out this site if you are looking for a phone.
I'm not looking forward to leaving my family, friends and dog behind. We are coming back once a year so at least we will be able to see them but a year is a looooooong time. I am hoping to make some friends over there but then it will be hard to leave them when we come back home.
I wonder if Singapore has any kind of skate park, I have been practicing on my scooter and hope to be able to use it in Singapore.
We are definitely interested in hearing from your perspective. It is a LONG way away and a year is a LONG time. Just keep asking God what he is doing in this and with that understanding you will have comfort. Good thing He gave us the internet for such a time as this, eh?
ReplyDeleteCaleb, your mom's right. We definitely want to hear from you! Your friends will miss you, but a year isn't really all that long, and like Barbara said, you have internet! My year abroad was without internet and before consumer digital cameras. Imagine dropping *hundreds* of dollars on phone calls and postage to mail back film/pictures. Ay!
ReplyDeleteYou have a great attitude about this move, and everyone will be praying for you. It's a grand adventure!
I enjoy hearing your thoughts. You are insightful and interesting. I will miss both of you and K. You both have been a positive impact on my sons. Thanks for being friends.
ReplyDeleteI'll miss you and Keegan too. We would've made a time to see you guys, but our schedule has been kind of crazy. At least there's internet!! And at least it's not 2 years!! Maybe we can exchange photos and videos over the internet.
